    Exciting Development and Progress in the Last 6 Weeks

    A lot has happened in the last 6 weeks or so. Besides exams and some other personal things. The project has progressed beyond what was expected. Humera has worked like a legend.
    The “Youcoach” website is about to go live, very exciting. This should launch next week. Kobus and his team have been doing great work as well.

    Our logo for the app stores is done.
    The app is on my phone. It will take shape as the process develops. I liked the little sheep, but the more complete app on my phone will be a huge step forward.

    Project Update and Team Focus Areas

    Everything seems to be flowing well. There will be bugs, but they get sorted as they come up. In the huddle with Andre and Humera, we talked about Swagger. That is what they are working on now: getting the programming of the app to talk to the server. As I understand, this is where the white labeling will be done. On the other side, Kobus is busy with the website, and I am working on content to put on the website once it is ready to enter into cyberspace.

    July Project Focus and Content Updates

    Had a meeting with Humera this morning. Her exam is behind her, and now she can focus on the app. I think we will see lots of progress in July. On my side, I have been working on content. I have a good repertoire of exercise videos for the morning routine. And for the website, I have written a few words as well.

    Team Progress and Individual Contributions

    Another exciting meeting. Humera is flying! We now have the TestFlight app on my phone, and soon YouCoach will be on my phone. PdH! We did battle a bit to get the App Store Connect on my phone, and later went via Safari. They worked well. My YC app looks like a sheep now. Must be the Shaun that Andre added to his family. Humera is writing exams next week, and the week after she will be getting busy with development. So in a few weeks, I might have a YC app on my phone.

    Exciting Developments: The YouCoach App Takes Shape

    Humera and I had a quick meeting. I was a bit late, but I got the kids dropped off and made it to a coffee shop for the meeting. She showed me the frames that were done. She called them boring, but to me, it is very exciting—just squares and words and links. I see the YouCoach app taking form. Cannot wait to see this launch.

    Logo Refinement and Accessibility Enhancements Discussion

    Had a meeting with the YouCoach dev team today. We tackled the “mauler” in the room, I mean in the logo. Played around with the intensity of colors and the shape of the circles. That should solve the problem. We’ll let Kobus’ genial skills work it over, and it might turn out that we can accommodate color-blind users as well. Let’s go, team.
